CAD > Snap > Trace Virtual Line Snap

Generate points along a virtual line segment. This snap mode is generally used in conjunction with CAD > Snap >Trace Cline as a quick method for building DDLoops ( CAD > Build > DDLoop) and FFLoops ( CAD > Build > FFLoop).

To use this snap mode you simply define the virtual line segment by picking the start and end points, and the function will automatically generate points along this line. For example if you select points 4 and 10, the points along the dashed line will be automatically generated.

Notes:

The location of all points along construction lines can be viewed by setting the View > Render > Cline dot radius parameter.
